Monkey Forest Ubud Run is an event held annually by Monkey Forest Ubud. Themed “RUN-FoRest Run” and taking place at the Monkey Forest Ubud Central Parking and presenting routes in the Ubud tourism area. Taking the running category with a distance of 5 kilometers and 10 kilometers, RUN-FoRest Run can describe the experience of running close to nature, such as through forest paths or green open areas, which emphasizes the importance of preserving the surrounding environment. Taking a break from the daily routine, runners get peace from the stunning natural beauty, abundant oxygen, and physical fitness. The RUN-FoRest Run theme raised in the Monkey Forest Ubud Run 2025 event is a combination of two main concepts, namely running “RUN” and enjoying the surrounding nature “FoRest”, as a combination of Forest and Rest. This theme emphasizes the experience of running in the middle of nature, which provides a balance between physical activity and the tranquility that can be found in the forest.

RUN-FoRest Run invites participants to move actively by running through routes around Monkey Forest Ubud, which is known for its natural beauty of tropical forests and vast rice fields. Meanwhile, “FoRest” and “Rest” remind us not only to focus on the physical, but also to take time to pause, enjoy nature, and recharge along the way. This event gives runners a sensation that is not just running but an opportunity to connect with nature while preserving the surrounding environment. RUN-FoRest Run also contains a message about sustainability and balance between running and nature conservation. Running in the forest or natural trails can be a symbol of harmony between the two.
