Due to overwhelming response and to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to get a race slot, since 2019 the Borobudur Marathon registration has held in Ballot Registration system. Also available registration for Fast Runner Qualifying, by Travel Agent Partners and Bank Jateng Program.

Fast Runner Qualifying
- Registration Period : 17 Mar – 30 Apr 2020
- Announcement / Payment : 07-14 Mei 2020
- Limited Slots ! the fastest in the gender/category will be accepted
- Once you are selected, you cannot transfer your slot to another competitor
- If you are not selected or selected but failed to pay for your Fast Runner Program entry, you will be automatically entered in the Ballot Registration entry system

Qualification times must be done in the last two years (2018/2019) on a AIMS-certified run course
- 42K : Men Sub.03:15:01 / Women Sub.03:20:01
- 21K : Men Sub.01:35:01 / Women Sub.01:40:01
